The City Council is voting to formally end a 2014 agreement between the City of Houston, a tax reinvestment zone called the Greater Houston Zone, and the Harris County Redevelopment Authority (HCRDA) that governed how that zone was managed. This step is needed so the City can replace it with a new agreement involving a newly created agency called the Houston Harris County Redevelopment Authority (HHCRDA).
