The City Council approved contracts with KSPlan Administrators (KelseyCare Advantage) and Emphesys Insurance Company (Humana) to provide Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug PPO and HMO health plans for city employees through the Human Resources Department. The contracts run up to five years (three years plus two one-year options) with a maximum value of $151,660,000, funded by the Health Benefits Fund.

What it means for you

City of Houston employees and retirees eligible for Medicare Advantage health coverage will receive their plans through KelseyCare Advantage and/or Humana under these new contracts.
