The City closed and transferred to homebuilder Meritage Homes of Texas a roughly 638-foot stretch of Rosecroft Drive (about 38,254 sq ft) and two water line easements inside the Stonehenge Apartments subdivision. In exchange, Meritage paid the City $43,048 and gave the City a new right-of-way easement and a new water line easement.

What it means for you

A section of Rosecroft Drive and two water line easements in the Stonehenge Apartments area are no longer public property — they now belong to Meritage Homes, which is the adjacent landowner. Residents in that area may see changes to road access or utility routing as Meritage develops the land.
