The City Council voted to close and transfer a roughly 1,010-foot stretch of Sleepy Lane (about 60,652 square feet) to the adjacent property owner, NPH Rankin LLC, because it is no longer needed as public right-of-way. In exchange, the company paid the City $2,800 and gave back a similarly sized easement strip in the same area.
