The city is closing and transferring ownership of a roughly half-acre stretch of Pinewold Lane (from Pine Hollow Lane north to Green Tree Road) to the four private property owners whose land borders it. In exchange, those owners collectively pay the city $767,353 and grant the city several water line and drainage easements.

This segment of Pinewold Lane will no longer be a public street — it becomes private property. Residents who currently use that block of Pinewold Lane as a public road may no longer have access to it.
