Outcome

A motion was made by Commissioner Briones, seconded by Commissioner Ellis, to direct the County Administrator, beginning April 2026, to present quarterly updates to Commissioners Court on Strategic Plan implementation progress and outcomes, with recommendations (when applicable) for departments (and cross-departmental teams) that merit public recognition for demonstrating excellence in advancing Strategic initiatives and other strategic priorities; to direct department heads to coordinate with each other (as applicable) and with OCA to provide updates to Commissioners Court regarding 5 to 10 of the 22 FY26 Budget Guideline Priorities (consisting of Operational Imperatives and select Strategic Initiatives) through an existing or new, concise report, submitted in collaboration with the Strategic Planning Committee and any applicable Goal Area Committees; and to direct all OCA-reporting departments to add a link to the Strategic Planning and Strategic Plan in Action Tracker to their websites. The motion carried by the following vote:
