The Board of Managers authorized HISD to negotiate and execute partnership agreements with the Harris County Department of Education to continue afterschool programs at Chavez High School, Crespo Elementary, and Kelso Elementary.

Students at those three campuses may continue to have access to afterschool programming funded through the federal 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant.
