On motion by board member Garza Lindner, with a second by board member Colón, after careful consideration of all evidence, the board voted to approve all changes to the independent hearing examiner’s recommendation as set forth in the pleading submitted by the administration entitled “Decision of the Houston Independent School District School Board Proposed by Administration” for the reasons and legal basis as set forth in such pleading, and the board voted to adopt the hearing officer’s recommendation, findings of fact, and conclusions of law as amended by the pleading, and consistent with this motion, the board voted to terminate Mr. Ochi-Okorie’s term contract effective immediately.
