The City Council is asked to approve giving up two city easements — a 70 square-foot ground easement and an 854 square-foot aerial easement in Harris County — by vacating and abandoning them to CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC, which owns the underlying property, in exchange for a payment of $12,881.00 to the City.

If approved, the City would permanently relinquish its rights to those two easements, transferring full control of the parcels to CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC, and the City would receive $12,881.00 in return.
