The City Council is asked to approve an ordinance declaring it necessary to acquire portions of three parcels of land — by purchase, donation, dedication, or eminent domain if needed — for a FEMA-funded project to improve and protect seven sewer lift stations from hazards.

What it means for you

If approved, the City would be authorized to acquire the needed land interests and spend money on purchase costs, appraisals, title services, relocation assistance, court costs, and expert witness fees to support upgrades to the Sunny Glen Dr., Scotts Point, Woodstream, Riverchase Trail, Aspen Pass, Covecrest, and Spain Cove lift stations in District E.
