The City Council unanimously confirmed Mayor's reappointment of James R. Jard to Position Two on the Board of Pilot Commissioners for Harris County Ports, with a term running through February 1, 2028.

The Mayor requested City Council confirmation of seven appointments and reappointments to the East End District Board of Directors, with terms running through June 1, 2029. However, the City Secretary announced that this item was pulled by the Administration and was not considered.

The Mayor asked the City Council to confirm appointments and reappointments of 11 people to the North Houston District (formerly Greenspoint District of Harris County) Board of Directors, but this item was pulled by the Administration before a vote could be taken.

The council approved the completion of a contract with Reytec Construction Resources, Inc. for small-scale water infrastructure work, including fire hydrants, valves, and water lines, and authorized any remaining final payment owed.

The city council approved up to $1,216,710 to buy Nexplanon contraceptive implants from CuraScript SD over three years, with the option to extend two more years, for the Houston Health Department.

The City Council approved up to $3.9 million over five years to buy recreational, educational, and miscellaneous supplies for the Parks and Recreation Department from S&S Worldwide, Inc., through the BuyBoard purchasing cooperative.

City Council approved up to $7.5 million to purchase books and other library materials for Houston Public Library, using a contract already established by the City of Austin with vendor Brodart Co., running for six years.

The council approved increasing the spending limit on an existing 2021 contract with Core & Main LP by $432,568.91 for the purchase of water service connections used by Houston Public Works.
