The City Council unanimously approved Mayor's appointment of Jessica O'Neill to Position Ten on the East Downtown Management District Board of Directors, with a term running through June 1, 2029.

The Mayor asked City Council to confirm six appointments and reappointments to the Board of Directors of the East End District, each serving a term through June 1, 2029. Council approved the request unanimously.

The Mayor requested City Council confirmation to reappoint three individuals — Anas Maguz, Edward Reyes, and Richard Mason — to positions on the Greater Northside Management District Board of Directors, with terms expiring June 1, 2029. However, this item was pulled by the Administration and was not considered by Council.

The City Council unanimously confirmed the Mayor's appointments and reappointments of 11 individuals to the Houston Downtown Management District, filling Positions 1 through 15 and 30 with terms expiring between 2027 and 2029.

The Mayor asked the City Council to confirm appointments and reappointments of 11 individuals to the Houston Housing Finance Corporation board; all were approved, but immediately afterward Council Member Ramirez moved to send the appointment of Mihir (Manu) Gupta back to the administration for further review, which also passed unanimously.

The City Council approved the completion of a contract with Joeris General Contractors, LLC for a project that upgraded flight information display and baggage information display (FIDS & BIDS) LED lighting in Terminal A at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). This vote accepts the finished work and authorizes any remaining final payment owed to the contractor.

The City Council approved the completed construction work on the Montrose Library replacement project and authorized the final payment, if any, to the contractor David E. Harvey Builders, Inc.

PASSEDUtilities

The City Council approved the completion of a contract with Andrew-Jordan Industrial, LLC for replacing and upgrading electrical equipment on 69th Street, and authorized any final payment owed to the contractor.
