The City Council held a public hearing on a proposal to use a small strip of Chimney Rock Park (about 7,368 square feet) as a 20-foot-wide corridor for sanitary sewer infrastructure. No members of the public spoke, and the council voted to close the hearing.

The City Council unanimously confirmed three new members to the Board of Directors of the Lake Houston Dredging and Management District: Derek St. John (Position Two), Sarah Berkey (Position Three), and William Simpson (Position Five, Chair), each serving through June 1, 2030.

The city council approved placing an honorary street marker honoring Rev. Byrd Lacey Jr. at the intersection of Grove Street and Gillespie Street.

The city designated a new residential parking permit zone covering the 2100 block of Colquit Street, the 3000 block of Reba, and the 2300–2400 blocks of Bellmeade (east side). The council voted unanimously to approve the recommendation from the Administration & Regulatory Affairs Department.

The city council approved final payment to CSI Consolidated, LLC (doing business as AIMS Companies) for completing a contract to clean and inspect sanitary sewer pipes using television cameras in support of sewer rehabilitation work.

The city council approved the completion of a contract with Sprint Sand & Clay, LLC for construction of the Spellman Detention Basin drainage project and authorized any final payment owed to the contractor.

The council approved up to $140,000 for a one-year contract with Coit Cleaning & Restoration Service to provide pressure washing and paint restriping services at Houston airports, purchased through a cooperative buying program called The Interlocal Purchasing System.

The council approved up to $1,938,000 for medical physical evaluations focused on cancer prevention for Houston Fire Department personnel, awarded to First Response Family Clinic for one year with two optional one-year renewals.
